TEXAS MAMMA JAMMA BIKE RIDE

One of the reasons I started this blog was to have a way to pass along information to my supporters. Below you can find links for (1) how your money is put to use, (2) inspiring videos and stories about the 11 Beneficiaries, and (3) a way for you to participate in the ride .... even if you live in Alaska (hint: you don't have to ride a bike!):

YOUR SUPPORT IS NEEDED AND APPRECIATED

Thank you for your interest in the Mamma Jamma Ride. It is the largest charity bike ride in the country that raises funds for Breast Cancer patient services. If you supported me in the past, I hope I can count on you again this year. If you are new to this event, Welcome! Either way, I'm glad that you are here. Since the 2010 ride, I have been asked to serve on the  Board of Directors for Mamma Jamma. What an Honor!! I have met the people behind the Beneficiaries, and heard the personal stories of the clients they serve. This has only increased my passion and commitment. It has deepened my conviction that out of a dark period in my life, something very beautiful can happen.

Beneficiary Cancer Connection
A volunteer making a difference!
If I am going to come to you every year with my hand held out, I want you to know that your money is being put to good use. Unlike fundraisers that bring in money for research, the money you give to Mamma Jamma has an immediate impact. The variety of services provided by the Beneficiaries covers practically every need - from mammograms & biopsies to end of life care. Nearly 300,000 people will be newly diagnosed with Breast Cancer just this year, 900 of those in Central Texas. Those Breast Cancer patients have spouses, children, family and friends whose lives will all be touched.  I appreciate anything that you are able to give. I have received donations ranging from $5 to $2,000. Every dollar is important. I invite you to visit My Personal Page. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!

Hopefully some of my passion for this event rubs off on you. Please share this blog with your family and friends! I have a dream that there will someday be a Mamma Jamma Ride in every state in the country, you never know who will be touched by its message.
